It's like having multiple windows open

Living with ADHD can feel like having hundred browser tabs open in my brain at once. I have struggled with focus, time management, memory, and comprehending. I have struggled in school and work because of this condition. I have always felt like I wasn't smart enough or capable of accomplishing anything because I could never seem to get things done. I have been dealing with this struggle since I was child and it wasn't until I reached adulthood I finally got treated for it. Even with treatment, which helped with some symptoms, did not get rid of my condition. I had to use tools like reminders, lists, and scheduled breaks to stay on track. Having ADHD does not mean I am not smart or not capable, I just had to learn to work with my own rhythm.
