Anxiety Sucks

Some days it feels like I'm fighting a storm no one else can see. Over the years, I've learned that managing my anxiety isn't something that I can get rid of but learning how to control it. I have been given many tips and tools on how I can manage these moment, such as journaling, deep breathing exercises, and reminding myself that I don't have to control everything. What I found the most helpful tip is when I experience a high level of anxiety, I just need to stop what I am doing and just give myself a moment to breath. As someone who experience anxiety, one of the biggest help is knowing I'm not alone. I choose not to allow my anxiety to define me, it's just part of who I am and I'm learning to take back control.
